GONADS
Description:
In males, the testes secrete androgens like testosterone. Testosterone manages the development of reproductive parts, body hair, voice changes, and is regulated by the anterior pituitary. In females, there are ovaries that produce estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen controls the development of reproductive organs, breasts, and contributes to distributing fat in the body. Progesterone thickens the uterine lining in case of pregnancy.
